Important Information for Download Customers
To receive the full Norton Ghost 14.0 or Norton SystemWorks Premier (which includes Norton Ghost 12.0) product via download (which includes the Symantec Recovery Disk needed for a full system restore), you must choose one of two purchase options:
If you select “Buy Download,” you will have to download the Norton Ghost 14.0 file or Norton SystemWorks Premier file (which includes Norton Ghost 12.0) (404 MB) and the .ISO file (161 MB for Norton Ghost 12.0 and 243 MB for Norton SystemWorks Premier*) and burn in onto a CD (create the Symantec Recovery Disk). Instructions on how to create the .ISO CD (the Symantec Recovery Disk) can be found below and in your “Thank you” email.

If you select “Buy Download PLUS BackUp CD,” you will be able to download the Norton Ghost 14.0 file (161 MB) or Norton SystemWorks Premier file (which includes Norton Ghost 12.0) (404 MB) the and the .ISO CD (the Symantec Recovery Disk) will be shipped to (you will be charged shipping and handling).

The download versions of Norton Ghost 14.0 and Norton SystemWorks Premier do NOT support Windows operating systems prior to 2000 or the Linux Operating system. Please change your order to the packaged version.

To burn the downloaded .ISO to a CD (the Symantec Recovery Disk), you will need the following:

-One blank CD-R disc (Do not use a CD-RW disc).

-The product .ISO (downloaded from the Symantec Store web site)

-A CD creation program, such as Nero Burning ROM or Roxio's Easy CD Creator, that is capable of burning.

To burn the .ISO image to a CD:

IMPORTANT! Do not use the "Copy" feature in Windows XP; it is not capable of burning an .ISO to a CD.

Gear DVD Standard Edition: Use the "Open external physical image" feature to burn the .ISO to a CD.

Nero Burning ROM: Use the "Burn Image" feature to burn the .ISO image to CD. Refer to the software's
