| Where do I find my version for a Windows or Macintosh product? |
Please follow the steps below to find the version of your Symantec product: |
1.Go to the "Start" button on your computer's desktop, select "Programs" and click on the Symantec product for which you want to find the version information.

2. In the popup window that appears, click on the "Help & Support " button located at the upper right corner of the pop up window. Select the last option on the list, (About "product name"):

3. You will find the version under the "General" tab.

| Macintosh: How to find my version? |
To find the version of an application on a Macintosh, first start your Symantec program. Then follow the instructions for your Macintosh operating system. |
If you are using OS 9.x or earlier:
- Open the Symantec program for which you want to find the version information.
- Click the Apple menu, and then choose About . For example, if you are using Norton AntiVirus, click the Apple menu, and then choose About Norton AntiVirus as shown in this illustration:
Note: This is always the first item listed in the Apple menu.

If you are using OS X:
- Open the Symantec program for which you want to find the version information.
- Click the "Application" Menu, and then choose About . For example, if you are using Norton AntiVirus, click the Norton AntiVirus menu, and then choose About Norton AntiVirus as shown in this illustration:

Note: The "Application" menu is always the first menu next to the apple, and the About is always the first item in the menu. |
