I need assistance with product activation.
Please see below for information about the full product activation process. The following products include product activation technology:
Norton AntiVirus 2004
Norton AntiVirus 2004 Professional
Norton Personal Firewall 2004
Norton AntiSpam 2004
Norton Internet Security 2004
Norton Internet Security 2004 Professional
Norton Password Manager 2004
Norton SystemWorks 2004
Norton SystemWorks 2004 Professional
- After you have paid for your product and downloaded the Setup.exe file from the Symantec Store, double-click on the Setup.exe file.
- The Download Manager will appear. Press Start to begin the download.
- When the download completes, The Install prompt will appear. Browse to the destination folder, then click Install.
- Note that if the installation prompt does not appear, you must double-click your product's .exe file to start the installation.
- After you have installed your product, the Information Wizard appears. (If it does not appear when Windows starts, then double-click your product's desktop icon.)
- Click Next to continue. The first Product Activation dialog box will appear.
- Make sure that you are connected to the Web before you continue with the activation and registration process. If you cannot go online at this time, then you can click Activate later. You will have 15 days to activate the program. At the end of that time, Norton AntiVirus will stop working.
- Click Next to continue. The Registration dialog box will appear. Choose the boxes that you want.
- Click Next. The personal information dialog box will appear. Fill out the information.
- Click Next. The Activation dialog box will appear. Make sure that you are connected to the Web before you continue with the activation and registration process. If you cannot go online at this time, then you can click Activate Later to skip this step.
- Click Next. The Activation process will begin.
- The Activation Complete dialog box will appear when finished.
- Click Next. The Subscription dialog box will appear.
- Your product activation is now complete.
Note: If you are unable to connect to the Symantec's servers during the activation process you will be presented with the option to activate your product by telephone. If you choose do do this you will be provided with a phone number, as well as further instructions to complete your activation.
